Adult Workshops, Private Classes, and Kids Birthday Parties
Private and Semi-private Lessons
Want to learn all about clay but can’t commit or a class setting is just not you? Sign up for one or a series of private or semi-private lessons where the focus is on exactly what you want. Lessons are $200 for a two hour private, or $375 for a 2 person semi-private, or $550 for a 3 person semi-private pottery wheel lessons. All clay, materials, and firings are covered in these costs.
Private Wheel Class (2hrs and 2 finished pots)
Book a one on one session with Out of Step Clay to get a unique experience on the wheel. Whether it's trying it out for the first time or brushing up on some problem areas, we will curate a special private class, or a series of private classes to suit your interests on the wheel.
We can schedule these on Fridays and Saturdays all day, or Thursdays before 3pm.

Semi- Private Lessons
Celebrate a special occasion, a nice date night, or just a memorable time with a friend or family member with a private lesson on the wheel for you and your friends. We can typically expect to make 2 pieces per person. We trim and glaze pieces for you after you leave to pick up a few weeks later. All materials and firing fees are covered in the costs. Special one day workshops can be tailored to your specific interests. We can accommodate 8-14 participants. 2-4 hr long activities. Available on Fridays and Saturdays by appointment only.
Need a break from the office and want a rewarding team building experience to rejuvenate your team? A clay workshop at Out of Step Clay is just the solution. Call or email for details. Workshops start at $105 per participant for a wheel workshop.
Kids Birthday Parties
Unleash your child's inner artist at our Kids Birthday Parties! Picture this: a little Picasso holding a masterpiece in her hands, beaming with pride. Surrounding her are equally excited mini-potters, all ready to unleash their creativity. At Out of Step Clay, we provide an unforgettable experience where imaginations run wild and smiles are mandatory. With a dash of whimsy and a pinch of clay, our parties are the perfect recipe for artistic fun and unforgettable memories. Let the pottery party begin! Parties start at $500 for up to 10 people and can accommodate up to 16 participants at additional costs. Birthday parties would not be able to use the potters wheel. Only Available on Fridays and Saturdays. Please reach out in advance to make sure your desired date and time is available.
